first preview night was awesome. A few mishaps but the audience never knew. We still have alot of work to do before the first critics come. I have never been a critic type of person. It's sad but true- especially in NY , a critic ( one person's opinion can make or break a show) All that hard work you put into from creation to fruition can come crumbling down on one person's opinion. Getting a great review is wonderful, however - when the audience leave the theater, and are moved- by what they saw- and cant wait to see it again, and again - that is my great review. i write for the people, and i hope i have been doing a good job for the past 10 years. (lol) I love what i do-- there is nothing else i would rather be doing. nothing. Its wonderful put a smile, or bring a a tear, and just allow the audience to live through your words. Its a beautiful thang.
